Birthday/Christmas Wishlist

I really don't like asking for stuff. but since people will give me things anyway, might as well make a list to make it easier for them to give me a gift.

  • Nail polish, any will do.
  • Black hoodie, because the one I currently own is fading.
  • Derek/Stiles drawing. They can be hugging, or kissing, idk I just really want a Derek/Stiles drawing. [framed if possible]
  • Peter/Stiles fic.
  • Convense Chuck Taylor low top black and white classic. If you know me, you know I wear the hell out of these shoes. [size 7 in women]
  • A hug.
  • Homemade oatmeal raisin cookies.
  • Scarf [dark colors only]
  • Earrings, nothing that dangles.
  • An original sonnet about how awesome I am.
  • A cold fizzy beverage that has 23 flavors.
  • Pacific Rim on DVD
  • Tres Leches Captain America cake with pink flowers and the words "I'm Batman!" written across it.

Honestly, my list is just simple things.

It's A Monday

I had to work this weekend but it was ok because I was working in the back and got to jam to my music. I'm off today, so I naturally I woke extremely early, and was just laying in bed for several hours.

Eventually I did get up because I had to adult and pay my rent. I usually send my sister to pay my rent since I'm busy with slowly dying and being a hermit. But she said she wouldn't pay it anymore because I played that Taylor Swift song she hates. To be fair, I purposely put it on and held my iPod to her ear.

I tried watching movies on netflix but it wouldn't stream. I've watched a few movies, and I need to update my posts.

Ok so lately I've been hating music, nothing actually grabs my attention. The Valley album by Eisley changed that, even if for a few days. The whole album is great except the song The Valley, which I thought was funny.

I joined an RP site, it's been almost 2 years since I've rped with anyone. It's hard for me, since I'm use to just writing fanfics now.

Anyways, I'm going to lunch with my mom, sister, and nephew. I'll enjoy the rest of this nice weather we're having in Houston.

Peanut Butter Nutella Cookies

I was off today, didn't even have to wake up early. Mid day I was craving something sweet, and the urge to bake something was vibrating through my skin. OK maybe not like that, but I did have to urge to bake something. I picked cookies, since I already had all the ingredients at my disposal, and to be honest, mixing and measuring is my favorite part.

I googled Peanut Butter Nutella cookies, and came across this post from The Sister's Cafe. The recipe is simple and easy.

They came out good, my family ate most of them before I finished baking the entire batch. So go make some of these delicious perfections.

Films '13: Movie Weekend

I can't remember what weekend I saw these, must have been when I was being lazy and watched TV all day. I've been meaning to watch these films, and finally got a weekend all to myself to do just that.

Let's start off with Constantine, I like it. Although I though it lacked in some of the cinematography, I wish it would have been a bit darker. The whole story I loved, and I would like to see more. Definitely watch it again. 3.5/5

Lockout, let's be honest, the only reason I wanted to watch this was because of Joseph Gilgun. Some of the special effects were lacking, it was an okay movie, better than what I thought it would be. They should have picked a different guy to play Snow. I swear I thought at any moment Liam Neeson was going to show up and save Maggie Grace. 2.5/5

Silver Linings Year Book though, it's a must watch. I might be bias, but Jennifer is just so lovely. Watch it, watch it right now. 5/5

Films '13: This Is 40

I went to see this movie on Monday. It was ok, it had its funny moments. But if I were you, I'd just wait until it came on DVD.

Films '13: Seeking a Friend for the End of the World

I've loved Keira since PotC, and my goodness you just need to see her in The Jacket. Actually you need to do yourself a favor and go watch The Jacket right now, Adam Brody is in it, and it's just really good.

I also love my girl in Pride and Prejudice. So when I heard she was in this movie, I was ready to watch it. But then I saw the trailer and I didn't like what I saw, I decided to wait until it was on DVD. I'm glad I did, because this movie was disappointing, it was missing something, I just can't put my finger on it.

Some of the parts were just not that interesting, that I found myself paying attention to other things other than the movie itself. Kiera is such a great actress, she can bring so depth to her characters, I felt like she didn't have that open range to bring that out with her character Penny, i did catch a fleeting glimpse. Also, I don't really care much for Steve Carell or his character.

TL;DR Movie was ok, but it could have been better.

2.5/5

Films '13: The Perks of Being a Wallflower

I like watching movies, a lot. But sometimes I forget which ones I've seen. I'm hoping that through the course of this year, I'll remember to write them down, and maybe that way I can get an idea of what I've watched this year. I will be tagging it Films '13.

I woke up this morning around nine, I heated up some brownies, and proceeded to watch this film while I ate candy, because obviously I'm a mature adult.

I was immediately drawn into the movie, Patrick was my favorite, and I just felt bad for him loving someone that had to keep what they had a secret. Emma's accent made me want to laugh, it was just adorable, it was nice seeing her in something outside of the HP movies. I loved the music. It was a good indie movie, or at least that's what it felt like. I would recommend you watch it, if you're into that kind of stuff.

4/5 stars
